The Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival announces its 2023 line-up


The Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival has announced its 2023 lineup, featuring works loved by opera lovers. The Festival will take place from July 4 to 25, 2023.

The Jerusalem International Opera Competition kicks off the season in July. Favorite tunes are on tap as the singers compete in front of a jury of conductors, singers and casting directors from many of the world’s greatest opera houses.

A Opening Gala Concert presents a program of works by Bizet, Donizetti, Gounod, Mascagni, Mozart, Puccini and Rossini.

The next step is an all-Grieg concert celebrating the songs of the Norwegian composer.

The Opéra Lyrique explores Ravel’s vocal music by Maurice Ravel: A Musical Journey.
