Opera Neo has announced its 2022 season.
The San Diego-based company will kick off an “Aria Gala” at the Conrad Presbys Performing Arts Center.

There will also be a pair of Cabaret nights at Bread & Salt.

The company will also offer a transatlantic collaboration with the Hungarian State Opera, welcoming András Almási-Tóth to conduct a production of “La Finta Giardiniera”. The opera will be a co-production with the Hungarian State Opera.
“As opera is a global art form, adding this international component to our program will provide us with continued reference and opportunities to exchange ideas with young and established artists from abroad,” said the artistic director of Opera Neo, Peter Kozma, who will direct the opera.
The work will feature Öznur Tülüoglu, Eric Laine, Anna Trombetta, Kyle White, Artúr Szeleczki, Andrea Jörös and Boglárka Brindás.
Performance dates: August 5 & 6, 2022
The next will be “Ariodante” directed by Benjamin Bayl. Kozma will lead a cast consisting of Stephanie Doche, Michael Skarke, Sara Womble, Ashley Fabian, Brian Skoog and Andrew Boisvert.
