Law and Order Organized Crime Theory: Stabler Dies in Final Shock | Television & Radio | Showbiz and television

In the latest season of the popular Law and Order spin-off, Organized Crime, undercover cop Elliot Stabler (played by Christopher Meloni) attempted to bring down New York crime boss Preston Webb (Mykelti Williamson). As the NBC crime drama heads into the final two episodes of its 2022-23 run, new clues could have sealed a devastating end for the iconic TV sleuth.

In an unprecedented move for the Law and Order franchise, Stabler could be killed off in the latest episode of the new spin-off.

After last week’s crossover episode, Lost Ones, reuniting the crime-fighter with his partner Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Preston prepares for one final face-off that will close season two in spectacular fashion.

His new partner, Sergeant Ayanna Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) has confirmed that Webb is still running out of blood for trying whatever it takes to end his Marcy Killers operation.

Meanwhile, Preston’s wife, Cassandra (Jennifer Beals), pressures him to take his next step after he was humiliated by the police at his recent gallery event.

At the end of the crossover event, Preston assured him that “it’s time,” while Stabler discovered that corrupt cop Frank Donnelly (Denis Leary) was setting him up for a fall.

With his enemies closing in, could this be the end of Christopher’s historic return as the Stabler after a 10-year hiatus with Law and Order?

The login line in this week’s next episode, Streets Is Watching, may have dramatically shortened Stabler’s lifespan after his two-year stint on the new offshoot.

It reads: “When the task force uncovers a threat to Stabler’s life, the pressure is on to gather all the evidence to lock Webb up for good.

Additionally, Organized Crime has yet to be officially renewed for a third season, so it’s possible that the latest Law and Order spinoff is destined for a devastating conclusion.

More episodes are expected to be released later in 2022, but, as the second season was announced in May last year, NBC viewers could arrive at the end of the month without official confirmation.

If those clues weren’t enough, the recently released promo for the next episode also announced an ominous fate for Stabler when he receives bad news from Nova Riley (Nona Parker-Johnson).

During an intense encounter with him and Sergeant Ayanna Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt), Nova informs them that a hit has been landed on Stabler.

Later that same day, he returns to his apartment to find he has been infiltrated by an assassin wielding a silenced pistol.

As previous instances have proven, Stabler is more than capable of holding his own in a fight or shootout.

However, this assassin may have the upper hand when she catches him in her own home, and the new footage ends with Stabler disarmed and restrained against the wall – could this be the beginning of the end for the iconic sleuth?

Law and Order: Organized Crime season 2 airs Thursdays on NBC in the United States. A UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
