Hollyoaks Star Glynis Barber has neither confirmed nor denied a major fan theory regarding her villainess Norma Crow.

Now that we’re officially in the middle of Hollyoaks waterfalls week, we can expect an “emotional” showdown between Warren Fox and Norma (aka The Undertaker), but is there any truth to the online discussions that she could secretly be his mother?

“People can theorize all they want, but in the end, we’ll just have to see,” Barber said exclusively. digital spy.

“I mean, she seems to have this interest in Warren, but it could be anything, who knows? She could have killed his parents, she could be related to someone he killed in his criminal past, we just don’t know.”

The two characters will add plenty of spice to the soap opera’s hour-long special, with the star revealing Norma and Warren “end up in the hospital” after collapsing from a great height.

“I was a little worried that if Norma was near death and lying in hospital that people might use that to their advantage, but I was very happy to see that even though Norma is lying in the hospital, she’s got things under control,” she teased of the immediate fallout.

“In the hospital, someone tries to play with her, and it doesn’t go well for them. In fact, she ends up being really the cruelest after her hospital bed, forcing her associates to put things in place, and let’s say she has a few people held…”

Mix it all up with a dash of death and you have one hell of an autumn.

Hollyoaks airs first on All 4, with new episodes dropping every weekday morning. The show airs Monday to Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 7pm on E4.
