Ben (played by Max Bowden) has struggled on EastEnders ever since months, and only her mother Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) knows about her rape. Tensions will continue to rise between Ben and Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) in the scenes to come, as he has no idea what Ben has been through. In a moment of rage, Ben goes to punch Rocky but accidentally punches Kathy. Will Rocky report him to the police for the assault?

BBC soap spoilers revealed that Kathy was visiting her troubled son after Rocky kept talking about his behavior.

She meets him at the Arches and offers him to speak to a specialist who can help him through this difficult period of his life.

However, they are interrupted by a customer called James, whom Ben soon realizes he went to school with.

As Ben takes him to buy a car, James begins to flirt with him, leaving Ben very uncomfortable.

Later, Rocky lashes out at Ben for how he treats Kathy and gives her some truths.

Things spiral out of control when Ben goes to punch Rocky in a moment of pure rage.

As he swings for him, Kathy jumps up to protect Rocky, and Ben accidentally punches her instead.

Ben is then forced to move in with Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick), leaving Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) less than impressed.

She turns to tough love and makes the difficult decision not to talk to Ben until he seeks support.

With no one to rely on, Ben turns to newcomer James and ends up taking drugs with him after a kiss in The Arches.

Ben continues his downward spiral when he learns that his ex-partner Callum Highway (Tony Clay) is so happy in life after their separation.

Kathy’s concern for Ben increases when Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) reveals he saw him drugged.
