Coronation Street theory: Debbie Webster flees after fatal accident | Television & Radio | Showbiz and television

The businesswoman usually likes to do everything right, but official spoilers for the ITV soap confirm she’s overlooked an important part of her hotel that will backfire massively. Debbie (played by Sue Devaney) has been running the hotel for a while, but her dodgy predecessor Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) had a habit of cutting corners wherever he could. As Coronation Street builder Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) works for her, her life is put in danger. Will a shaken Debbie leave Weatherfield?

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) will rule the roost with husband Ed.

She tells him that he is fixing Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) roof for companion rates and informs him that is the end of the matter.

Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) shows Ed and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) a picture of an abandoned pub and suggests that together they buy it, demolish it, and redevelop the site for housing.

Will Aggie agree? While Ed is working on a radiator at Debbie’s hotel, he is suddenly electrocuted and after being thrown backwards he lands unconscious.

Debbie could decide to run, which means there could be a double exit from the soap opera if she and Ed both leave.

Although running doesn’t help her, Debbie might get so scared that she becomes irrational.

Like her brother, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) will likely try to support her, but that may not be enough to convince her to stay and face the consequences.

When Debbie returned to Weatherfield in 2020, she was working with sleazy Ray, who hoped to buy most of the houses on the street.

Her good-natured side was proven, however, when she couldn’t continue with her naughty act.

She went against Ray and ended up suffering after he locked her and Kevin in a freezer.

Her reputation may still be tarnished, and this latest disaster caused by Ray could turn even more residents against her.

Ed isn’t the only one who suffered a life-threatening accident at the hands of Ray.

In dramatic scenes last year, chasms opened up on the cobbles following his interference in the street.

Johnny Conner (Richard Hawley) ended up dying following the tragedy.

Ray also sexually assaulted Faye Windass (Ellie Leach), destroying her life for a time as she ended up in jail for trying to get revenge on him.

The final consequence of Ray’s terrible legacy could be the final nail in Debbie’s coffin.

As Aggie prepares to pursue her, it’s likely she’s considering leaving Coronation Street.

Can anyone stop it?

Coronation Street continues Monday at 8 p.m. on ITV.
