Barrington White House Launches 3th Thursdays Art Night Out Series

0

Barrington White House is once again hosting its third series of Thursday Art Nights featuring three inspiring artists this season. The series begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 17 with Michael Ireland. The April 21 event will feature Marci Oleszkiewicz and the photographer, followed on May 19 by Al Buschauer.

Watercolourist Michael Ireland is a nationally acclaimed artist as well as an award-winning creative director and designer. His painting style and technique defies the scale and format associated with traditional transparent watercolor, causing some of his recent works to be over 20 feet long. This process and approach has led to his works being placed in collections across the country. He is a member of the National Watercolor Society, the Elmhurst Art Guild and the Illinois Watercolor Society. Recently, one of his works, “Conifer”, received the Helen Browne Memorial Award for watercolor at the Hudson River Valley Art Association’s 88th Annual Juried Exhibition. His home and studio are in Cary, Illinois.
